There is no line to the Cíes Islands from Pontevedra. Pontevedra gives its name to its own ría, but the Cíes sit at the mouth of the ría de Vigo: no boat to the islands leaves from the city. You have two very different options, and it is worth choosing carefully, because the closest one is not the easiest.
